The biggest request I get in classes is "I wanna work my booty" !! Trust me I SOOO Get it... I have never had a booty its what they call white girl problems therefore last week I asked you to take a leap with me on a new year new booty goal .. Over the years I have learned the only way you can build a booty is to SQUAT..  The Challenge:  In addition to your pilates sessions or fitness regiem- 200 EXTRA Squats /Lunges ADAY.. Glutes are your lazy muscle .. Ever heard the term lazy ass :)  let's turn it up, no more lazy buns .. Are you with me ? You can break em up throughout the day if you want, lunch break, bathroom break a few before you leave to work.. just get them in and do them right no powering it out !! make them count and squeeze them booty cheeks tight -

I started this week with a series of Fit Tips –  #FitTipByKFab on my Instagram Page, If you follow me on my Instagram I post more on a daily basis and love to give fitness advice for the obvious reasons .. I had a amazing photoshoot last week with Bram Norman Photography at a undisclosed location. The imagery was pure art, during the shoot I had to contort my body in ways that I could have never accomplished without the level of fitness I have in my life .. Nevertheless I was inspired to incorporate the images for emphasis on fitness tips for my posts this week.

Since this was the request of the “NEW YEAR” last week I asked you to take a leap with me on a new year new booty goal .. Over the years I have learned the only way you can build a booty is to SQUAT.. The Challenge: In addition to your pilates sessions or fitness regime- 200 EXTRA Squats /Lunges A DAY and yes EVERYDAY.. Glutes are your lazy muscle .. Ever heard the term lazy ass 🙂 let’s turn it up, no more lazy buns (I have a great post in my archives on my favorite muscle group if you want to learn about the lazy buns) .. SO Are you with me ? Lets do this.. 200 squats can is not a lot of time requirements in fact you can break em up throughout the day if you want, lunch break, bathroom break a few before you leave to work, while you are watching late night tv.. just get them in and do them right no powering it out !! make them count and squeeze them booty cheeks tight – Lets get that tight ASS 😛

MONDAYS ARE A BIG DEAL - Don't be poopy .. Wake up and start the wek on a mission .. You have goals and you should never let yourself down..The best way to make it to your fitness goals is to schedule yourself out and get it on the calendar you don't cancel meetings with your boss and last time I checked we are our own boss.. Monday is the most important day to commit to yourself and set your intent for the whole week. GET IT ON THE CALANDER - make the time, you can put a value on your health or a clear mind, Get the blood flowing daily and the week will feel that much better as you are honoring your body..

IT’s easy to hit the snooze button especially on a cold morning, but I have always found that extra hour of sleep didn’t make me feel any better and in fact that work out I got in (surprise) DID make me feel better .The best way to make it to your fitness goals is to schedule yourself out and get it on the calendar “commit to your goals and health”  you would never cancel meetings with your boss and last time I checked we are our own boss, treat yourself with the same respect.. Monday is the most important day to commit and set your intent for the whole week. GET IT ON THE CALENDAR – make the time, you cannot put a value on your health or a clear mind, Get the blood flowing daily and the week will feel that much better as you are honoring your body..

 

AB TUESDAY!!! Complaint number two - I want a flat tummy!!!! Although a tight tummy has more to do with your diet then anything you still have to plank and work that core to get it tight.. eating right is HUGE, the wrong diet bloats the abdominal region. I always SAY Tight Tummys are made in the kitchen, a healthy balanced diet and workout plan will let them shine. Stay away from processed foods - Lots of water (hydrate), lean protein. almonds, salads stay away from them sugars and carbs - Just natural, healthy food - no more garbage

Stay away from processed foods – Make sure you “water your plant” Lots of water (hydrate, hydrate hydrate), lean protein. almonds, fresh produce and stay away from sugars and carbs – THe biggest help “PLAN YOUR MEALS “- Healthy snacks are just as easy but without the planning we don’t have them on hand, Finish your weekend with a store run with everything you need for the week- Nourish yourself with natural, healthy food – no more garbage

 

 

KEEP AT IT YOUR DOING AWESOME- NO GIVING UP -Nothing worth having ever comes easy .. Often times before our greatest changes we find the biggest struggles and hurdles, life testing you to make sure you are ready for it as once your there it does not make things any easier just closer to the next step.. MOVEMENT FOR LIFE / SPINAL HEALTH - I do love a sexy back and a sexy #bikini to compliment it @mikoh .. By trying to keep a sexy back means you are creating a healthy back .. To age gracefully we gotta keep our spine healthy and work all ranges of motion daily, make sure you get all your back stretches in daily if even for a moment especially if you miss your Pilates class .. Otherwise I promise you in pilates we will work your back and take that spine through healthy ranges of motion every class .. We want movement for life !!
